Opera Mini Next is a test version of the Opera Mini browser. The main aim of this app is to allow users to preview upcoming changes before they are added to the main apps.

And just like the Mini version this browser is designed to perform well even with a poor network connection. It compresses and optimizes content before it reaches users.

This way pages load faster even on slow connections. Users can also turn off loading images altogether if they want to save on their data plans.

Users get Support for more than 9-speed dials. You can add as many as you like or as many as your device can handle. Opera Mini Next for Android can no longer be downloaded so you just have to opt for the standard mini version.

The biggest change for Opera Mini Next is a new start page when you start the app and it is capable of learning your common sites and content. Once the app has enough data it will show the content automatically.

You get perfect and regular Tab improvements. After the last update Tabs are now closed with one click on touch screen devices. And when you close a tab, Opera Mini will switch to the one you used last.

This browser was initially released keeping in mind the dumb phone users that supported an Edge browser.
