Modern Combat 5 Controls and Game Modes

Users can enjoy the single-player story mode or hop in to play multiplayer mode with players from around the globe.

The graphic quality of this game is top-notch because the game is developed by Gameloft. There are not a lot of in-app purchases that you find with other FPS games.

The purchase prompts usually pop up to buy skill points that can be used to buy crates and upgrade blueprints. Progression will be unified between single-player and multiplayer.

That means that experience and items unlocked in one mode transfer to the other mode, which will be great for players who prefer one to the other.

Single Player Story Mode

Your player evolves and unlocks new items as the game progresses. So if you wanna have better equipment you will need to pay for it. And as you progress you will unlock class-specific skills by earning and spending Skill Points.

The on-screen control schemes rely on a dual thumbstick arrangement. Drag on the left side of the screen to walk forward/backward and strafe side to side, and use the right side to aim. You can say that the controls are almost identical to PUBG mobile for Android phones.

The story mode takes place across six different zones including a Buddhist temple, a bustling metropolis, and a military base. Each area has 3 stages with 4-6 missions each. Completing each mission will enable you to advance.

Each Modern Combat 5 mission is mostly about surviving and figuring out the terrorist motives. There are quick missions along the way that might call upon you to cover your team from a sniper perch, breach and clear a few rooms, assassinate a target, or rescue a hostage.

Things can be improved by adding a few more details to the single-player storyline.

Gameplay and Multiplayer

Drop into Battle Royale mode and fight for survival with up to 70 players. Talk to other players to plan your online multiplayer strategies and coordinate an attack in the Global and Squad Chats.

Accumulate XP and level up by playing solo play missions, team play matches, and Battle Royale.  Unlock higher-tier guns and other weapons by mastering lower-tier guns.

Customize the perfect weapon using a host of attachments and jump straight into the free game action.

Multiplayer mode is pretty straightforward in Modern Combat 5. Players start with random mode only while other stages unlock as they progress. Multiplayer modes include:
